Dr. Lena Holmes

Dr. Lena Holmes, President & CEO

Dr. Lena became interested in leadership studies as a political science student at Northeastern University. After graduation, she earned a master’s degree in public administration and theology. Additionally, she holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Transformational Leadership from Ashland Theological Seminary, a division of Ashland University.

Beyond her educational background, Dr. Holmes is an experienced nonprofit executive and thought leader with over two decades of success advancing missions in higher education, healthcare, and faith‑based organizations. Dr. Holmes combines strategic vision with operational expertise to build effective teams, cultivate meaningful stakeholder relationships, and steward resources with integrity. With a proven track record of leading multimillion‑dollar fundraising campaigns, overseeing financial planning, and aligning boards and staff around shared strategic plans, Dr. Lena has earned a reputation for excellence in transformational leadership and business coaching.

Passionate about leadership development, she launched Insights Plus Consulting, LLC, (a.k.a The Servant Leader’s Mindset). The Servant Leader’s Mindset Podcast—an audio and video platform that reaches audiences in over 80 countries and 900 cities, has sparked actionable growth in leadership. Focused on building servant leadership skills, the podcast delivers talks and expert interviews that provide listeners with tools to effect change in their personal lives and organizations.
